We welcome individuals, families and small groups of friends to get involved as volunteers at Haven From Hunger. From sorting canned food donations to leading nutrition education classes, our volunteers make a big difference in the community.

Food repackTurn bulk food into ready to use, family-friendly packages in HFH's Pood Pantry, sort and inspect perishable food , or join us for a fast-paced, food sorting adventure in serving our clientel. |
Help a local agencyMake a direct impact, close to home, by volunteering at one of Haven From Hunger's partner agencies. Opportunities may include stocking shelves, preparing emergency food boxes or helping with office or maintenance work. |
Community outreachCreate a ripple effect in the community to benefit the fight against hunger. Community outreach volunteers share information about HFH, about hunger and about the ways that people can make a difference. |
Office help and internsFrom filing, to copying, to database projects, there are many ways for volunteers to lend a hand in our offices. Office volunteers help HFH keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. |
Learning GardensGet your hands dirty growing organic fruits and vegetables for hunger-relief agencies, mentor youth in the garden or lead workshops to teach low-income participants to grow a portion of their own food. |
