Skipping dinner. Eating less! Giving up food in order to pay rent. This is what thousands of people in Peabody and Salem face every day.The Haven from Hunger is the critical link between food and people. We provide food to nearly 200 people a week.Hunger impacts people in all walks of life. We reach them all – from working families to senior citizens. This year, we are on track to distribute more than 45 million pounds of food to meet an ever-growing need in our community.
